Your Data, Your Rules: Privacy and GDPR Controls in PinsCorner

PinsCorner gives you full control over your personal data — export everything in a ZIP or delete your account with a 30-day grace period. Here is what that means in practice.

When you build a digital business card, you share real information about yourself — your name, contact details, social links, analytics data and more. Knowing you can get that data back, or remove it entirely, is not a nice-to-have; it is a basic expectation. PinsCorner was designed with that expectation built in.

Whether you are a freelancer who wants a clean exit, a business owner reviewing what you have stored, or a team admin making sure your company handles personal data responsibly, the privacy tools in PinsCorner give you practical, no-fuss control.

Export Everything in a Single ZIP

At any point you can request a full export of your account data. PinsCorner packages everything into a structured ZIP file — your card content, block configurations, contact captures, analytics events, profile settings and billing history. Nothing is left out.

This is useful in more situations than you might think. You might want to review exactly what information you have accumulated over time. You might be switching tools and want to archive your lead captures before you go. Or you might simply want a local backup before making major changes to your card. Whatever the reason, the export is yours to download and keep.

  • Card content and block configuration
  • Contact captures and lead data
  • Analytics events and page-view history
  • Profile and billing information

Account Deletion with a 30-Day Grace Period

When you decide to close your account, PinsCorner does not delete everything instantly. Instead, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time your card and data are deactivated — no one can view your public card — but nothing is permanently removed yet.

This grace period exists because deletions are usually irreversible. If you close your account by accident, change your mind after a few days, or realize you need to retrieve one last thing, you can reactivate from within the same grace window. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from PinsCorner servers.

What GDPR Compliance Actually Means Here

GDPR gives people in the European Union — and by extension, anyone who works with EU contacts — the right to access, correct and erase their personal data. PinsCorner's export and deletion tools are built to honor exactly those rights, without requiring you to file a formal request or wait days for a response.

This matters especially if you use PinsCorner to capture leads at events or trade shows. Those leads are real people whose data you are holding. Being able to show that your tooling respects their rights — and that you can delete their data on request — is not just a legal checkbox; it is a signal of trust.

Privacy is not about having nothing to hide. It is about having the tools to decide what to share, when, and with whom.

Who Benefits Most

These features matter across the board, but they are especially valuable for certain users.

  • Freelancers and consultants who close projects and want a clean slate
  • Small businesses that handle customer contact data and need to demonstrate compliance
  • Team admins managing cards for staff who have left the organisation
  • Anyone operating under GDPR, CCPA or similar data-protection frameworks

Ready to see your privacy controls? Open your PinsCorner account settings, head to the Privacy section, and you will find the export and deletion options waiting for you — no support ticket needed.
